Full Stack Ethereum Developer

We are looking for a smart contract developer with experience in building UI and web3 applications to help engineer, build, and scale a decentralized insurance protocol. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing smart contracts for the platform offering actual insurance policies for DeFi liquidity providers on Ethereum.
We are a small team at the start of a long journey, so a qualified candidate must be proactive, ship quality code at high velocity, and take ownership of the project, including the architecture, long-term strategy, interacting with the community, as so on.
Overview of Initial Responsibilities
- Improve and finalize the existing architecture and design variables
- Build the core smart contracts
- Keep up with rapidly evolving blockchain space, and introduce innovative tools and products
- Be a steward and influencer of our early engineering culture
Requirements
- Knowledge of Ethereum smart contract development and testing suite (solidity, truffle, MythX, slither, echidna, etc.)
- Knowledge of web3 application development (e.g. web3.js / ethers.js, React, etc.)
- Working knowledge of AMMs, DEXes, liquidity mining, staking, and mechanics of protocols like Uniswap, Sushiswap, Curve.fi, Nexus Mutual, etc.
- Adversarial mindset, security awareness (be familiar with SWC registry).
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
- Passion for DeFi
We are a remote-first team, so are very open to hire from any locations for the right candidate. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience (will also include equity in the form of native tokens). This is a full-time role.
